Two years ago, PlantWorx 2017 attracted over 15,000 people. Previous rail-only shows organised by Rail Media have attracted around 6,000 on their own.
Combining the two figures, and looking at pre-registrations and advance interest, the following numbers are anticipated:
Over 20,000 visitors to the two shows, with around 5,000 specifically attending to visit RailWorx;
50% being decision makers with influence on what equipment is purchased, hired or trialled;
40% looking to witness live demonstrations that they otherwise wouldn’t be able see;
65% looking for innovations or something new;
28% with either an immediate need or a requirement in the next two years;
17% interested in technology, software and systems rather than equipment.
